Thane: Covid, cancer meds on sale at 5-fold cost

Five people, including two medical representatives and a former pharmacist, have been arrested for black marketing of injections meant to treat Covid and cancer. While remdesivir, which costs Rs 5,000 was being sold for Rs 25,000, they were selling tocilizumab, which is also priced around Rs 5,000 for Rs 80,000, said assistant commissioner of police (crime) NT Kadam.
