Mum: Man held for child porn, 700 pics seized

Bandra Kurla Complex cyber police have arrested a 20-year-old class XII dropout and resident of Gujarat on charges of child pornography, cyber stalking, hacking the Instagram accounts of minor girls and blackmailing them. Police said the accused coerced the victims into sending him their nude and semi-nude photos and videos. The accused has also been booked under the stringent Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act. Police have recovered objectionable photos of more than 700 girls from him. “We are probing if he has sold any photo or video to porn websites or was planning to do so,” said an officer.
