Thane stn: Outstation passengers to be screened

As the number of cases in the city rises, the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) wants all citizens returning to the city via outstation trains to be screened for Covid-19. This includes migrant workers making their way back to the city. Four teams have been readied by the civic body and will be deployed at the exit points of Thane railway station to screen passengers. They will check for infection symptoms and conduct antigen tests.
