'Amazon refuses to appear before Parl committee'

Tech giant Amazon has refused to appear before joint committee of Parliament over the Data Protection Bill on October 28, panel chief Meenakshi Lekhi said on Friday. She also stated that the Seattle-based company's refusal to appear before the committee amounted to breach of privilege. Parliament committee unanimous on action by the govt against Amazon, she added.
