The Mumbai Metropolitan Region has suffered a major power outage causing inconvenience to lakhs of citizens and commuters on Monday. The power cuts were witnessed in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai among other parts. There have been multiple tripping of lines and transformer (Kalwa-padghe and Khargar ICTs) supplying power to Mumbai system, sources said.
