Number of vehicles in Mumbai to cross 4 million

Even as it took almost two decades for Mumbai to go from 3.2 lakh registered vehicles in 1980-81 to a million, and another decade to cross 20 lakh in 2011-12, the city will cross the 4-million vehicles mark in just three years after surpassing the last million in 2016-2017.
