NIV to test Covaxin against new Delta variant

The recently discovered Delta Plus variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus will be isolated and grown at the Pune-based ICMR-National Institute of Virology (NIV) to test if it can be neutralized with Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin.
