Daily Maha Covid tally tops 1,000 after 35 days

A surge in new Covid-19 cases in the city pushed the state additions on Wednesday past the 1,000 mark after over a month. The state registered 1,201 cases, including a 68-day high of 480 in the city. A day before, on Tuesday, the state had added 825 cases.
